Maroon 5 Detroit reviews
Maroon5
I’ve been to many big name concerts here. I always expect traffic delays getting in, but this was another level! Apparently it was tough to get the usual large traffic and parking staff for this event. It took 2 hours to get from the freeway exit to the parking lot. At times it wasn’t clear which way to drive due to a lack of clear signs and/or parking staff to direct the traffic. Once parked, the line to check in was huge. This part was much faster…surprisingly so considering they had to check COVID vax against ID’s and tix. We were 2 hours late and thinking money was wasted. However, as soon as we got in and got a drink, Maroon 5 started. After the first song, Adam Levine apologized to the crowd for the difficulty getting in. He said not to worry about getting less of a show or getting out. He told us all to relax and enjoy. Our seats in sec 102 were amazing, and Maroon5 was awesome! The stage and lighting were great, and the sound was clear and perfect. The entire band played super clean, showing off their talents well. Adam’s voice and guitar were on point. An awesome show, not to miss! I hope the next event has a full and proper parking staff for future events. That was really stressful, but nice save by Maroon 5! Thanks for waiting, Adam & Company!
Ok Concert
This concert was average. Saw Maroon 5 a few years ago and they were great. This time they were kind of low energy. Sat in the 300 level side row aisle seats and the view was partially obstructed by the screen on the side of the stage. I wouldn’t recommend going unless you get lower level center seats. The concert seemed more like a vegas show than a true rock concert. Not one of the best concerts I have ever seen but if you really like Maroon 5 you should like it. PS I would recommend going on a Wednesday. The band kept saying that everyone should pretend it was a Friday or Saturday which made the energy feel low.
